What stirs sand but doesn't strip the good stuff out?

Looking for stirrers or sifters that don't eat all the good stuff out of the bed. 35 gallon DT with 12 gallon sump/refugium.

Get some Nassarius Vibrex and Cerith Snails.

I have cerith. i was told nasarius eat a lot of the good stuff so I steered clear.

They stir the sand to get food thus "strip the good stuff out". I would use your hand with a stick

Nasarius snails primarily feed on the excess or leftover fish food/waste. They don't really feed on the beneficial micro fauna that it sounds like your worried about.
