I'm not trying to insult your intelligence but, with that high of a water volume you shouldn't need water changes every week. I have about 400 total volume and I water change about 60 gallons every 6-8 weeks.

No offense takin. I think we have very diffrent tanks, and diffrent goals for our tanks. I like keeping a TON of fish, and I like SPS, and I like to spot feed my LPS on a regular basis. Which results in HUGE amounts of nutrient import into my system. The only way I can keep everything happy and stable is weekly water changes, and I'm currently undersized on my skimmer. From what I can tell from the pictures you have you don't appear to have nearly the bioload as me and are keeping mostly lps and softies. If that was the case ya, I could proboly get away with less water changes.

WOW that is a 6.8 amp unit at 115v... So when its running it's pulling 782watts, did I calc that right ??
Actually I used my watt meter to check the actual wattage it was 650 watts. Better than advertised.

Alot less than my 40pint unit. Maybe a few hours a day, but that's all relative to your situation. My 40 pint a day unit was drawing 550watts & ran almost all day & night.
