what tang/tangs for my 5x2x2

I have already got a

Niger Trigger
Chevron Tang
2 x Clarki Clowns
2 X Clown Gobys
2 x Orchid Dottybacks
1 x Eibl Angelfish
7 x Green Chromis


I really want either a Naso,Sailfin,Regal,Powder Blue,Powder Brown.

I would love a purple but they are Ã"šÃ‚£90 in my LFS.

I was thinking maybe get a Regal,quarantine that for 4 weeks,then get a Powder Blue/Brown or a sailfin or naso.


My LFS has a small Clown Tang which I love. But I've heard horror storys about them.

What do you guys think.

I've done lots of research,I would just like some opinions and experiences now.

Mixing a trigger with chromis and clowns? Good luck friend. I've heard chevrons are of the more aggressive tangs also.

IME, Chromis do not do well in an aggressive tank. Maybe when some of your chromis are gone, you can replace them with a new Tang.

I love my bristletooth tomini tang.They stay smaller like the kole tang.

Tank's not big enough for a naso, and that trigger will chew it's tail, especially if it has streamers.

I say pull out the trigger and then add a tang.

I really like Powder Browns but the blues seem to have a better track record.

Black tangs are cool too.
