Well, it's not always about the volume, but rather the dims, so if you are really a tang guy it's nice to have a 6' run for them as opposed to a cube.
I personally love 120, 150, and 180 dims for the 24" front to back for scaping.
A cube is also awesome for scaping, but it's not the most desireable dims if you wish to have tangs.

you know dragon, just to be on the safe side, maybe you should get a 38 foot long tank that way you can keep a kole tang, you know, just one....

125 is 72-18-20 I think
If you can get a tank that is 24"+ front to back...do it! much better room for fish and aquascaping!

My 450g is 96"x40"x27"h & is my 8th acrylic tank (been using acrylic tanks for over 20 years, have 5 right now, all over 120g...in fact still have a 130g tank purchased in 1991)

For the record glass (especially starfire) can scratch, not as easily as acrylic, but you still need to be careful.

I agree with everyone who say at least 24" width, it gives for much better aquascapes. Ive been working on a 60lx30wx24t 187g for a while now and got the tank about 6 months back, it's truly a great shape tank, leaves for an amazing scape.

The xh is the deep fiminsion is what I have said before an d the other one is like a 125 just a bit taller. There are 3 sizes of the 150 and I'm getting the cube one. Sorry for the confusion

Ohh no no yeah cubist no tangs that get to big will go in there just smaller ones such as kole yellow purple tomini and only 2 or 3 of those it's going to be set up like a cilende rank with all the rock in the middle so the tangs can swim around it

I will post a build thread if I can figure out how to add pictures I will be ordering the tank when I get back from Maui in about a week and it will be a week after that that I order the tank almost my b day haha
