For widespread, rapid bleaching events, temps around 31.5C (89F) seem to be the trigger point, but sustained, extended periods above 29C (84F) have been demonstrated to cause problems.
It should be noted that temperatures in the mid and upper 80s (F) may be common during the summer (or ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"œhigh-sunââ"šÂ¬Ã‚Â) season, but the temperature doesnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t stay that high all year round.
