I learn from the lfs that the tang with steamer is male and the one with out is female so most tank in the lfs is female right?

i guess you are referring to naso tangs? yes the males have streamers and the females dont... once you see at the lfs might still be small and have not yet developed their streamers yet? i have seen 1-2 naso's that have streamers they are nice
