What the H3ll is this?

Alright i have a small 24gal aquapod and recently pulled this worm out of it. . When streatched out strait it measures 12" long and 1" wide. Does anyone know what this is???

Looks like a eunicid worm.

ewww is right. I put it in the lab freezer at work ( Items for human consumption not allowed )... cant wait for someone to find it..

yup, eunicid worm, be glad you caught it before it got larger. here is the one I caught about 2 years ago. it was 6' long and about 2" thick.

I know these are "just worms" and all, but man do they ever creep me out. I think if I ever see one of these bad boys cruising my tank I will suddenly adopt the philosophy of a "hands off" tank and let nature take care of everything from that point forward
