ok guys, I'm gonna do my best to describe this because my stupid camera would not focus on it.
I found a worm today in my seahorse tank. It was smooth, not spikey and cream and black striped, kind of made a zig zag pattern down its back. It's mouth looked like a feather duster but the color of aiptasia. It was coming out of a rock and at least two inches long from what I could see. It kept retracting back into itself and then extending again. You could only see the mouth when it was fully extended, it was like tentacles.
Does anyone know what the heck this could be, and how can I go about catching it if it is harmful. When I took the out of focus picture it retracted all the way back into the rock.
Thanks guys,
Michele
