what the heck! (mushrooms)

hows it goin..i got green and two fraged orange mushrooms and they dont open fully?? i got a finger leather,about a 40 zoo colony,green stars, kenya tree,10 green buttons, xenia,candy cane, one 2" monti cap that are open fully every day and growing wit good color but .....my mushrooms wont open i got good flow too all parameter are perfect except my calcium witch ive been doseing purple up and my salinity is 1.021-1.022 should it be higher? any help well appreciated and a thank you in advance..

Seawater is more like 1.026, and your tank should be too.

alright ill take ya up on that. so to raise the salinity do i just wait for the water to evaporate and add top off water with salt? what should the salt level be in the bucket to raise the salinity from 1.021 to 1.025-6? help will be well appreciated.. then ill post you back and tell ya if the mushrooms open up

I'd let it go up slowly by allowing evaporation, then top off once with 1.026, and then go back to regular top offs.

No idea if that is causing your mushroom issue though, but it should help with corals in general.

try placing them in a not so bright spot in the tank, some shrooms dont likebright light

some shroons don't like a lot of flow, but you need to get your
salinity up to at least 1.025.
