what to buy for an aquarium junkie

I have a friend that has large tanks with lots of corals. I want to buy something that he would like mostlikely in the area of equipment & accessories. He is looking at a Vortec mp 40, but that maybe slighly more than I'm looking to spend. Any suggestions for an enjoyable gift?

Ive got a couple of books on my Christmas list. Sometimes we would rather spend money on equipment instead of books. What about a subscription for a magazine. Just a thought.
