what to dip new corals in for disease or pest control?

just wondering what people use to dip new corals in before they introduce them into their tanks to prevent any pests or diseases from entering the DT?

I hate to sound like a downer, but the sad truth is there is no single dip regimine out there that satisfactorily reduces the risk of bringing pests into your DT. There are many stories of people dipping religiously with multiple products like coral rx, revive, reef dip, interceptor etc. and still having pests show up. There is no doubt the dips all help to some degree (and dipping is obviously better than doing nothing at all), but the only way to be sure is to do repeated dips over time along with QT and careful observation for several weeks before introduction to your display. I know it sounds impractical, and it really is a huge PITA, but it's definitely worthwhile if your display is getting grown out and the idea of losing years worth of growth & hard work really scares you.
