I setup my new trap and caught one of 4 gorilla's in my tank. But now I am not sure what to do with him? Does anyone what them as I get them? What do you do? Do you just put him in your sump? I am not one to just kill something for no reason so that's not an option.

Hens4Fish I think that is a decorator crab.
If you look at my pics online I had that question last week. It looks like a black spider but has sponge on him then he puts all kinds of stuff on top.
The pic is crab with luggage. Name

Many creatures that are harmful to corals are perfectly fine detrivores in the sump, where they can live quite happily in the dark munching on what the tank brings them.

throw them in your sump. also i dont know if a mantis will eat them or not but you could post in the mantif forum and see if anyone wants them.

Yes a mantis will eat these crabs. I found a couple that came in a shipment of LR. I placed them into my mantis tank and they were destroyed within a couple of days. If you dont feel like killing them just banish them to the sump.

I've got a peacock mantis who'd be up for a dinner date, if you can ship (I can send something in trade or just pay you the shipping). PM me if you're interested.

Okay If I can catch th other 3 I would ship to whom ever wants them I will post as soon as I do get them. For now they are in my sump.
