What to do with my 6305's

So Im running 2 x 6305's and 1 x 6301 on my tank Im thinking that they are too powerful. The max power I can run them at is 40% otherwise things start to blow around. I have to place my ph's on the back panel and have them angled but its not enough. so my question is this....is it bad for pumps to be run at a max of 40% and should I just sell them and go with 6105's or the new 6155?

6155 is even stronger, barely, but it is stronger. 6105 would be weaker, you could also go to a smaller propeller on the 6305's. Running them at 40% will not harm them however.

I didnt even think I could go to a smaller propeller. I feel like I am not providing much in the way of variable speed running them at 40%. What size propeller could I use Roger?

6100.120 is a 42mm prop, the current props are 52mm, this would cut the flow by about a 1/3rd.
