I have a 50gal with a good amount of cup coral, orange cup coral(Tubastraea coccinea)a rare pink cup coral(Tubastraea sp. 1) and verills cup cora (Rhizopsammia verrilli).i was wondering what kind of trace elements i can add to help growth and what the best foods are.ive been feeding them shrimp individualy but I know they probably need more than just shrimp.i was also wondering how much flow they like and how fast do these corals grow?i have something else growing on the plastic ring my corals on and I need help getting an id on it never seen anything like it.

Pics help and are greatly appreciated.

As for trace elements, regular water changes should replace any that are lost. The best thing you can do is maintain your alk, ca, mg.

Never dose anything you don't test for.

HTH. Happy Reefing.

here are the pics of what ever this is lol.i cant seem to find anything like it anywhere to help me id it.maybe a symbiotic relationship?sponge and anemone?i will post more of the other three sun corals i have after i finish my boat work.
