Color me confused, is there a large advantage between the dried/grandular Cyclopeeze and the Frozen?

Apparently cyclopeeze isn't something I will ever find in the state of Maryland again. One of the LFS told me they aren't allowed to sell it statewide anymore. How long does this stuff last? I bought 2 bars of it 6months ago and never opened one of them.

i have heard from a reliable source that the guy who owns cyclopeze can be a pain in the butt to deal with

he does have an amazing product.
