What to put between tank and stand

I am getting ready to place my tank on it's stand and I remember reading something about puting something between the tank and stand but I can not find that information now.

So what do you use and where did you get it?
Thanks

you don't really need to put anything (given that surface of the stand is smooth). However if unsure, you could put thin foamy sheet thing(forgot what its called). It'll be compressed and help to eliminate pressure points.

As long as the stand top is plumb you don't need any support on the outside. Inside the tank use eggcrate under the substrate. This helps to distribute the pressure points of any rocks.

Cheap insurance.

When I set up my 75 in 98, I put styrofoam board under it.
Wished I'd heard about using the eggcrate inside; makes sense.
