I apologize for posting this previously in the wrong area.

I have a SPS that I bought at a LFS that came from another customers tank.

They were unsure of the name of it, but they did know it was a tort.

Mine looks exact to the one pictured in the link.

Any ideas which one/ones it might be?

I'm new to the hobby and SPS... just wanting a name to put to it so I can start studying up on it.

Forgive me if I am kind of answering my own question here, but from the link it has it listed as an Acropora Tortuosa. I did do a search and one thing that has me excited is that ones of the names that popped up is "ORA Oregon Blue Tort". This is the one coral that when I started I really wanted. Are they one in the same, or is the ORA Oregon a specific "strain" of Acropora Tortuosa?

So far it seems to be doing good. At first only the tips of the polyps were exposed, now the "whole hand" is sticking out.

I just increased my lights a little as I was told to wait for polyp extension, then increase.

Thanks

Thats not an Oregon.

Its a cali or similar.

Polyps can turn anywhere from green to as dark of a blue as the flesh in different systems
