what tunze for a 125 gallon

my uncle wants to upgrade his flow for his 125 and we are going to get eaither 2x 6000 with the multi controler or 2x 6100 with the multi controler. i think the 6100 may be to much for the tank so dose anyone eles have an opnion

I would go with 2 6000's, besides you can upgrade them to 6100's later for $73 approx per pump.

thanx rodger orderd 2x6000 and the multi should be here friday. 1 other queston what is the best or most prefered setting for the multicontroler

It really varies with what your set up is but I prefer interval 2, 6 hr intervals with a pulse set at 3seconds. The pumps switch speeds every 3 sceonds and the pump that is switching speeds changes every 6 hrs, the other pump just idles at 30% waiting its turn.
