Ever since I've gone fallow due to a velvet wipeout, everything has been a mess! nitrates and phosphates dropped to 0. First I had a chrysophytes outbreak... raised nitrates and phosphates by dosing it. Diatoms came in and easily wiped out chrysophytes... then after my CUC cleaned up all the diatoms, I started noticing a little bit of cyano... I let nutrients drop back down to battle the cyanos then an explosion of dino's.... this stuff is super stringy and snotty with air bubbles all over it so I'm pretty sure its' dinos.... This isn't the type that goes away at night when lights goes out... it's there just like it is at daytime with no lights... Anyone know what kind of species stays out at night? just trying to figure the species so that I can figure out the best way to battle it...
What type of Dino's don't go away at night?
