I'm new to having corals and I am at a loss for what this coral is. I got this coral (it glows orange around its edges under the actinic) at the LFS and the guy said that this was growing in their refugium so he fragged it and sold them for a really decent price. I have been wanting to get into corals for a while so I decided to take a chance. the only problem is that I do not know what it is and where in my tank I should place it? right now it is at the bottom of my tank becasue I wanted it to get acclimated to the lighting. can someone tell me what types of coral this are and what it needs to survive and where to place it in my tank? I have a 14g Oceanic biocube with a 24w 10K daylight and a 24w actinic. I run the daylight from 12:00pm to 8:00pm and then the actinic runs from 8:00PM to 12:00PM...aka 8hrs of daylight and 16hrs of actinic light.
