Folks, I am very sorry for the inconveniences. I was only gone a week and it is amazing how much can go wrong in a week. We spoke about a lot of current problems and the main focus was new products.
It was an exciting week we have some truly spectacular products that will be unveiled in May that are really coming along very well. We always fear we won't be able to beat our best innovations but I think for the third consecutive development cycle we have topped ourselves yet again. I cannot say more at this time but as I am given permission I will give details.
Production will be accelerated further and almost every backorder will be filled in the next week or so. I went to a trade show with Mr Tunze for the plastics industry and we are looking at many new modern manufacturing methods to step up our output which will be necessary for the new products.
We probably got 7 hrs of footage for the new product video and we will need about 7 hrs more but that will be filmed stateside. We expect to begin editting in December with any luck and should have the DVD available in May. I think it will be a real improvement as it will be a 45 minute documentary on our products including interviews with users of the products in France, Germany and the USA.
The pace was grueling, I am very tired, I probably put in a 60hr week while I was their. I know a few of you are angry but these meetings are essential for us to keep up with the needs of the different markets and I have to go to represent our market. I wish their was another way but to those that are upset I was gone I want you to understand this was not a vacation, I have not taken a real vacation in probably 10 years. Yes, I did have some fun, I had a few wonderful meals, toured Audi and saw Zugspitze and went to a couple beirgartens but I didn't knowingly leave for bad will or to leave anyone with an unresolved issue. Unfortunately with the pace we had and all the traveling necessary to film tanks in both France and Germany my computer access was far more limited than I anticipated and my plans to check email were not possible as Tunze installed a new network at the office that was extremely secure and the time was not their to let me onto the network with my laptop. I did my best and again to the few who are angry with me, I am very sorry but if it is any consolation, I was working and very hard, to make Tunze a better company both intenationally and here in the US.
