What wld cause LTA to move?

I have had this LTA for abt 6mth and has never moved from the day I put it in the tank... now it has slowly moved to the right but has never removed its foot from the sand...The only thing that has changed in my tank is the lighting... I went from VHO to VHO actinic MH combo.... Now I watch it inch its way to the right.... It almost looks like it is hunting down my regal tang... Which the regal tang attacks back??? Im so confused....

Any change in their environment can cause an anemone to move. The change in lighting in this case must have been the trigger. Did you acclimate the tank to the new lighting?

Almost for sure the lighting change is causing the move. I simply changed 2 of my old T5bulbs out for new ones and my haddoni moved to the shade. Unfortunately it didn't make it either. Between the new intensity of the lights and my clowns continually trying to beat it back to its original spot I lost it.

Definitely recommend getting some sheets of window screen under the lights above the nem's spot and remove a sheet at a time until it gets used to the new lighting.

I did acclimate it to the light and was doing fine the switch in lights happened abt 2 mths ago and it started its move abt a week ago.... and it isnt moving into the shade its all stretched out moving around.... its def not retreating almost like on attack?? Its the weirdest thing... Like I said the tang and nem get into it lol
