What would you putting your time/money on instead? If you weren't into reefing?

I would probably have a better wardrobe clothes and shoes.... oh and my house would be cleaner...no powerheads in the family room, fishfood in the kitchen, and bukets and sponges in the bathroom.

my 79' camaro would be done and at the track running 9's if I didn't start building my 500gal system

Would probably be in the aviary cleaning bird crap. I am not sure which one is worse on my pocket though, prices on small flying dinosaurs get pretty nippy there days, at least the collector's items i'm after"¦

i would be putting my money and time into another project car. i had to sell my last one inorder to move into my new place so mgirlfriend at the time could move in with me. she is now my wife and has actually just left me a month ago so i would defilently get another project.

my guess would be for me to get another old school mazda turbo 2 and drop a LS1 into it. that makes for alot of fun. either that or i could just finish building the IS300 with 3jz swap i have been wanting to do for along time. nothing like having a 800+WHP lexus that cruises around in style!!

Nice Guy, are you in the MY.IS forums?

LOL, I had a old RX7 as well, tricked enough to kill stangs and camaro's here and there. But was modded were it wouldn't pass cali standards and became a gross emitting car. Got rid of it for a chevy, then now a 07 IS350.

How about getting an IS250 and dropping an 800+whp supra motor? Obviously you would have to beef up the front diff, axles and the t-case but hey it would be fun.

That would be a lot of broken parts before you can fine tune everything, it would be nasty though leaving the line as the tree goes green.

If you had the money to buy the car and do the swap then you should have the money to replace parts...lol. Seriously though the drivetrain should be able to be fortified enough for it. Anything is possible for the right money. I have seen 700+whp Evo's, GSX's and scubbies/sti's although a lot of them start converting to RWD when they go above that probably for the fortitude issues.

I started it to burn up my money i was spending on drinking. It has successfully sobered me up pretty good lol. Before i left to finish college though the olds was my money pit. 25k or so at this point.

I want to do a 3rd gen rx7 after school is done in the spring.

no, its a cutlass supreme. 442 is a model, their top performance model at the time. Ive got a 455 olds in there, a 700r4 4speed auto and 3.73 gears out the back. All custom interior and a pretty nice sound system.

Its quick but i gave up on trying to go faster than low 12s all motor. The torque is just brutal in it. So fun to just tap the gas and just feel that thing lunge. Might strap on 200shot for fun one day though.

A is250 with a 2jz would be pretty wild. No one would see that coming at all

How about doing it in the new vert. Not sure if they are making the vert in AWD but it could be part of the swap :D

BTW the 442 was so named because of the motor. 400 big block with quad 2 barrel carbs.

I would have my next project car in the garage, that is currently empty. Sold both almost finished projects last year and the year befor that.

I would also invest in a whole lot more landscaping at my home than I have done so far.

RC helis? those gas powered ones? They are so cool haha

haha, your almost there.. The 64 442 (first model) was so named because it had a 4 barrel carb, 4 speed manual and dual exhaust.

the 400cid motors didnt make a debut til 65. They never had 4 2barrels but at one point they did have tri-power set ups of 3 2barrels.
