What would you recommend?

Tank is 40g 36x14x19 and will have softies. I want to have 4 fish with first two selected are sixline wrasse and starry blenny along with my CUC. What other two fish can you recommend to get along with these two fish? thanks
This is the tank in cycle.

I would never put a six-line wrasse in any of my tanks. They are notoriously aggressive and preclude the addition of many other fish. Are you determine to have one?

Pseudocheilinops ataenia is a great alternative to a 6line.

Other good choices would be Priolepis gobies, royal gramma, maybe a pair of percula clowns, assessors, Liopropoma basslets, etc...

Firefish, Midas blenny, pink streaked wrasse, or maybe trying a small "reef almostsafe" angel like a flame or coral beauty (I'd have to check tank sizes for those on liveaquaria first, though).

There was a spreadsheet linked here somewhere what tabulated the #'s of pple who had either of those angels and had or didn't have problems, and the coral beauty was around 88% reef safe and the flame around 85% ish if I recall correctly. But they are not 100% reef safe that I am aware of . . . then again, I have also read that nothing is truly 100% reef safe. If you did try a dwarf angel, you should probably be prepared to try to catch it as well at some point, just to be on the safe side (have fish trap). My 2 cents.
