yeah some of mine have their feeders out so i start feeding those and then the other acans open up and theyre all hungry
just fed mine mysis with tweezers so i could get as many of the polyps as possible
i try to do each colony because i leave my pumps on...i guess i should turn them off and do the whole colony but im not that bright...lol
i odnt see why cyclopeeze wouldnt work
cyclopeeze will definitely work. I take a decent chunk and thaw it in an ounce of tankwater. I then feed the acans with a syringe. I also give them PE mysis from time to time.
I usually try to feed all heads but it seems like if i just feed the biggest head, it grows and is just as happy.

Just to prove how right he is about eating ANYTHING. This just happened in my tank. My coco worm popped his crown and apparently the current blew it to my echinata. I can almost hear him saying"mmmmm, tastes like chicken!!!" as he tries to figure out how to swallow it!:smokin:

do you have to feed these guys? is just adding trace elements (part a and part b) not enough. you think these guys would do well in 70w hqi sunpod in 24 gallon aquapod. I saw one at my lfs for 100 bucks, must've had like 50 heads in it maybe more.
