that's unique all right. Not reef friendly, I'd wager, but don't just knock him off- watch him (her?) and see what "it" does. I've never seen a crab with mufflers on. Thanks for the pics.

glass leaned over at an angle against the rock with bait inside......

most crabs are failry easy to catch this way as long as they arent swimmers.......they cant climb out

.put it up at night and see if you caught him in the morning
