What's a good use of space?

If I take the bio-balls out of the wet/dry, what are some suggestions for a good use of this space? Can't really put LR there, because it won't be submerged. It would in effect be serving the same purpose as the bio-balls.

I have LR in the bio ball space.It doesn't need to be submerged because it has a continuous flow of water over/through it. The LR will dampen the noise of the splashing, and if you have any pieces with undesirable algae, it's a good place to put it -the LR always looks great in the sump!

i reccomend live rock as well but carbon and chemipure will work as well

I use chemi pure in with the rock in each drain compartment.
