What's going on with my clown (I have a picture)?

Hey everyone,

I noticed that my clown has a strange red lesion on its side. I've had her for at least three months and she's been healthy. Her mate is fine and so are the other tank mates.

I starting soaking their food in Melafix and Garlic to hope that the condition improves. Any other ideas?

She was hanging around that tank bottom yesterday but since eating the soaked food she's been darting around the tank rather helter skelter.

I would not put melafix in the food. It may be an infected wound. I would treat the fish in quarantine with either maracyn-two or nitrofurazone. I would also use hypo and some StressGuard in the quarantine.
