What's my fishes sex?

So about 6 months ago I bought a pair of ocellaris clownfish from someone who bred them. They were pretty small at the time (maybe an inch?), but I don't know how old they were. Well yesterday one of them went carpet surfing, so now I'm looking to add another, but don't want a sex compatibility problem.

When we first got them, the one that's still alive seemed to be the dominant one, but in the last month or 2 the carpet surfer seemed to be the dominant one.

For the experts out there, do you think that the fish I still have is female, male, neither or no way to even take a guess? I know the safest thing is to get small one from a LFS, but I would prefer to get a slightly more mature one if possible.

It is unlikely that they differentiated to different sex yet. I would just get another one to put in there. If the larger one died then any fish will be fine.
Just pick one you like the most and don't need to pay attention to size.
