whats my ricordia doing?

i have a florida blue ricordia

so i glued it to a snail shell(theres a stone on its foot) and it doesnt open up. its lying on the sand....

the current blew behind a rock pinned betwem the glass and it was open, does this mean i should put it on a rock or something?

I would glue it to the rockwork somewhere in low to moderate flow. If you have strong lighting make sure to acclimate it properly before moving it up too much.
