whats the best supplement for green buttons?

any other powder or something? i want to increse their growt alot! they are showing good growth under the MH

nope, no supplements, dont add anything to your tank that you cant test for.

dont listen to the LFS trying to sell you all these supplements that will increase growth etc. almost off of them will over polute your tank and cause more algae.

best thing you can do to maintain good water quality, is to get a good skimmer, get a refractometer, get your salinity to 1.025, get a good alkalinity test kit, and some baking soda and maintain your KH at around 7-9dkh. also make sure your calcium is around 400ppm.

test for NH3, NO2, NO3, and pH and make sure they are all normal. and if possible test for silicates and PO4 (all using salifert test kits if possible)

since they are green button polyps, or palys. feeding them frozen cyclopeze *may* encourage growth, but no one knows for sure

I agree with surfnvb7 but all I have to add is flow. He is right you will have algae blooms. Most of that stuff contains sugar and makes polyps open up but it is a false indication or growth and health in my opinion "Snake Oil" The only thing my tank gets is Cal/Alk and Mag. I have some SPS,LPS, and zoos galore.
