I dont think location makes a big difference for either of those species.
I will say that I had a blueface in my 240 for a few months- before she went ballistic and started eating everything. Killed a couple LPS and a large (18") toadstool leather before I was able to get her out. And the fish was only about 5". I would think carefully before adding one to your reef. The Genicanthus on the other hand should be great.
The only variant for Genicanthus melanospilus is the males from the red sea. The two you are choosing from are the same. If you are adding 2 females make sure you add at the same time.
