What's the local line pressure?

I'm installing a RO/DI system and need to know what OKC's line pressure is, so I know if I need a booster pump or regulator. Anybody tell me?

It has nothing to do with the OKC water pressure. Each home will have different pressure. My house has between 45-55 psi. It is an old house in an old neighborhood.

Most of today’s city water municipalities try to keep pressure at 80psi. That generally meets code and the standards of PVC pipe manufacturing.

Russ, some homes are equiped with a device that limits the water to 50PSI. This keeps old lines from bursting under the higher pressure of todays systems. Yours may have one installed.

If you got a new water meter recently, or if you had a notice on your door that they would be replacing your meter. Then it should be 70-80. But I found out tonight, that there is a way to adjust the pressure on the meter. Hmm, might have to go look tommorrow
