Whats up with my rbta?

Purchased a tank that had a decent sized rbta in it and it was hosting a big clarkii clown. The tank was run really low flow with just a ai hydra on very low settings 30% or less on all channels. The day after I placed the bta in my tank it split, and the smaller part of the split moved about 5" away to a adjoining rock. It bubbled up while the large portion did not bubble. They both stayed like that for about two weeks. about 4 days ago now the bta that previously had bubbled up decided it would take a roll around my tank, tucked itself up in a ball and has now sucked itself way down into a small hole in a rock in a very low flow section of my tank.

My tank parameters are good, my fish, corals etc all seem fine, the other rbta is doing great etc. I am wondering how long I should give the bta in hiding before I start to worry? My initial thoughts were it was just trying to find a place to call home, then after another day I was thinking that it didn't like my t5's after getting accustomed to low intensity LED's for quite a few years but after almost 5 days I am kind of stumped.
