What's up with my RO?

I just changed the DI resin. I run 2 in a row before the product line. Once I put them back in place I flushed the whole thing for like 10 minutes.

Now it's been like 2 days and all I have is 20 gallons of water.

I tried the flush valve and nothing is flushing through. The product line is just dripping along. Of I have to check every $@#*%! line and stage? Or is there a most likely culprit?

Thanks.

Could be water temp too. My RO output is about half lately. The input water is so cold now water is condensing on the faucet and tubing.

No pressure gauge. Never been an issue before. Summer or winter. Why won't it flush? Tells me there's a clog somewhere. Very irritating. Probably gonna have to run the whole system to find the trouble spot.

Mark....do you have a water storage tank and an auto shutoff? I would start with these....if not check the resin canisters.

one line at a time and turn it on each time you unplug a line to see whats coming out .i assume you did not run any hot water through it .and i know this is a stupid question but you did remove the wrapping before installation correct ? you also could remove the di cartridges and see if the flow picks up to normal ,may be a defective cartridge in there somehow?

This^ just undo each connector until you find where the flow slows. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

My job has taught me several things... one of the most helpful has been to never disregard the unthinkable.

So Mark, did ya? Did ya do it?? Huh huh HUH?? Did ya remove it??? Did ya? DID ya? DID YA???

So after an extensive trouble shoot, of corse it ended up being the last thing I looked at. There was one little bitty piece of tubing used as a connector between a ball valve and a float the was kinked. When I was cleaning my water vats I mys have tuned one just enough to king this 2" piece of tubing. The top off container was actually filling but the salt water vat was down to a dribble. Replaced the tube, all is a go.

The issue with it not flushing was another snafu with the waste line which almost came free from the drain pipe it's clamped to. It came free just enough to plug itself. It later gave way and gave me a lap full of water.

At least everything's back online....till the next episode!
