Can't check email until I got off of work. My company is very strict about data security andl all-external emails are blocked. We can’t even bring any type of data storage device in to work. I'll check in in about 2 hours but next time just shoot me a PM.

Wow, KFC is really cracking down, eh?

Man, working in fast food is hard work. I worked at a Hardees in high school- it might be min wage but it sure didn't feel like that's what you should be getting. DARN you are moving the WHOLE time you are there... and people with bad manners are awfully rude to you, just because you work there.

Club-zoa is just that, a club. No different that any other reef club out there. We have have some nice avatars and also run an independent club website, no different than any of the other clubs around, boston reefers, mahatten reefers, etc.... they all get to have thier own club avatars even though they run independent website forums outside of RC. Club-zoa is 100% non-commercial. I pay all the hosting out of my own pocket and do all the website work myself. I do this so that us zoanthid nuts have a place to talk a little more freely. It's a site run for hobbiests by hobbiests, it's not giant money making machine that RC is... Oh yeah, and we don't charge you money to use our search feature either ;)

I love the site... lots of great stuff to read, and the caliber of people there is outstanding. Best site for zoas yet, imo...

You guys will have to help me fix mine, they said I couldn't have it anymore like it was, so I had to delete it.

I guess I can't say SWAM Rules anymore or anything about MACNA... but I'm not sure. Aren't they sponsors of this site? Because I also piost at Saltwaterfish.com and stuff like that. Are we only supposed to post on one site versus the others?

I'm not sure I get it, because it didn't say the website, just noted I was a member, so that means I can't say the SWAM, MACNA, etc... right?

Stinks because I had just gotten above 400 posts, and was going to go sign up for the whole Premium member thing. Now I am not sure I am welcome here because I also post elsewhere?

:(

Recognizing that it is impossible to construct a definition which will satisfy every situation or circumstance, Reef Central reserves the right to determine whether or not a post violates the “intent” of the “commercial post” policy or definition.

If you read this I guess it comes down to a at the whim decision whether something is commercial.....I guess it was somebodies opinion of what Club-zoa.com is. The rule states that it don't have to be based on fact of commercial but what the people in "charge" deems commercial whether or not that it is in fact commercial.

Also if you go back through this thread there is no mention of what Club-zoa really is. Only Coral-nuts telling some one to PM somebody.....So see as how nobody posted anything about it either one of two things happened.
1. Somebody felt slighted and complained about it.

2. Somebody googled the name and found what it was....which to me if you have to go looking for something then it isn't necessarily in violation. I'm sure there are many post and posters that if you dig deep enough there might be a hint of violation. The question then remains what is the line that one crosses. The rule with in the agreement is truly arbitrary to those that deem to use it whether it is in fact appropriate or not. I have changed my avatar as requested, but that does not mean that I agree with the decision in part or in whole. I like the fact that also at somebodies choice a group of people all across the country came together in their fanatism about zoanthids found away to identify with each other and the hammer comes down.....I truly expect that all avatars that have Club references to be removed as ours have. If not then the user agreement will then be in violation also as the agreement cuts both ways. It is not just an agreement for us whom use the site but, also those the deem themselves in charge to also abide by that said agreement. One club cannot be in violation while others are not with whom also do the same thing.

Now that I have said my piece... I will let it rest and be what it be...
