He's just sitting near the outlet not moving much, scales kinda dark. Not sure why, he was just swimming around the tank like a maniac a second ago.

Sal. 1.025
pH. 8.0
Nitrite 0.0
Ammonia 0.0
Nitrate somwhere in between 5.0 and 0.0 (I'm using api till I upgrade for the nitrate)

I don't get it, is it sleepy?

I'd suggest taking it to the psychiatrist for some professional help..
That or just feed him some MDMA..

Maybe I'm just overreacting. My last tank from a few years ago completely imploded. Just dont want to repeat that event

If he's eating that is a very good sign. He could just be nervous for some reason or another...fish can be weird at times.
