I agree... Looks like someone has been snacking... Gorgeous RPE's though... Other ones look like MilkyWay PE's to me... Theres an ID subforum here you might try...

Awesome RPE's! It does look like something is eating your PE's. It will really help to post a fish list and invert list.

i have a yellow tang, 6 line wrasse, spotted wrasse, clown, manderine goby, and a cardinal. I did not dip them. Should I ? and what do I dip them in? R/O?

Lugols in tank water will drive out pests if thats the case. Make a nice violent solution and turkey baste the heck out of the colony and see what flys out.

The only questionable fellow in that list might be the tang...
Oh, and I dip all my zoos when I first get them... You never know what is on the frag... I got FW from a very reputable on-line retailer once... I won't make that mistake again... Luckily it was in a small tank and not my display or prop tank...

YT ??? they're more vegeterian than anything... its more invert damage than anything.. rouge crab or even large ampipods

For some reason that is totally beyond me and I don't have an answer, but that particular paly is prone to this happening. One or two skirts will turn white, then curl up and inward towards the oral opening. It will begin on one polyp, then it will show up on another polyp that may or may not have been touching the originally infected colony. I have the true blood red version of your picture and it took out 3 of the 4 polyps. It took a long time for it to happen, almost a month. Nothing worked to stop it. I recently found another frag of it in a store and that frag was doing the exact same thing. I placed that frag in my tank and it completely healed on it's own. I have absolutely no idea what it is, but the only time I have seen it was on the RPE and the TRPE.

Just food for thought.

I agree, looks more like an invert attack than a fish... I'm just tossing out ideas... lol I had a YT for years with no problems, but I know other people that have had problems with Hippo/ Regal Tangs... So????? Your guess is as good as mine...

Yea this is all to common when it comes to PE type palys and the like as Mucho mentioned.

Whether something is munching or not, I know many people who experience at one time or another including myself.
