What's wrong with my BTA?

I've had it for a couple weeks & it's been doing fine. It was bleached, but has been getting it's color back pretty quickly. Today I came home from work & it looks like this.

Nothing has changed & everything checks fine. Half of the tentecales look ok, but the other half look terrible. My RBTA that is about 8 inches from this one is doing fine. Here's a pic of it taken at the same time.

No, it's not turning inside out. It's partly under a couple rocks, but it looks like the top half is fine & the botom half of the tentacles are destroyed. I have a small sailfin & a small Tomini Tang & two Osc Clowns. The clowns stay in the RBTA & i haven't seen that Tangs bother it. I don't think any of the fish did it.

Why do they turn inside out? I purchased an anemone about 4 months ago and then the day after it was purchased and acclimated it turned inside out. I removed it from the tank and it turned to liquid in about 45 minutes.

pinkneyss,

Would not surprise me if you post it split by morning. Give it time to keep acclimating, hopefully it has been getting some meaty food bit to eat.

reefcrazy93,

Anemones are bags of water, when they die, there is not much holding them together. Last effort of the anemone is typcially to spit out everything or divide.

Well, it hasn't split yet & I'm not sure that's what is happening. It doesn't look any better today, but it also doesn't look any worse. I guess I'll just have to wait a few days to see what happens.
