What's wrong with my flowerpot?

That is completely wrong and being your from LI I would expect you've heard of ReefGen! I have all of their gonis and they are suuuuper hardy. Some years old, and one about three years old that has Justin's name engraved in the bottom which he did before the fancy RG plugs.

what is wrong with what I wrote? are you telling me wild gonis do great in tanks? green goins do great in tanks?

Yep. I have 11 gonis and some are maricultured, and some are aquacultured. I don't think color has anything to do with mortality rates, just care.

wild gonis are notorious for dwindling over time like I said in another post 6-8 months. does that mean they definitely will? no, but wild ones definitely have a higher mortality rate than the aquacultured ones. a search in these forums would show that pretty quickly
