What's wrong with my Nassarius Snails?

Ok, I know going in with this loaded question and no photo that it will be difficult to provide a synopsis, but... My nassarius snails (4 of them) started wigging out today. I've had them for over a year and they are in and out of my sand bed almost daily when I feed, if not ever other day. Anyways, today, I noticed all 4 of them were out and basically sitting stationary. Usually when you dig them up, they either move around on the sand or immediately start digging under. Any thoughts?

maybe something unseen died in your tank, or they smell some food, or they may be just hanging out. Next time you feed, see if they move. Good luck to you.

Yep, I had a large turbo go down that they couldn't get to. Once I removed, they were divin back into the sand. It was wierd though as they seemed a bit paralized? All's good not. Thanks
