What's wrong with my TANG?

Ok, When I got this fish he looked ok but might had a little spot on both of his sides. It isn't ich and thought he might have brushed up against something or he is scratching himself in my tank against some rock. But if anyone has other thoughts let me know so I can get him better.

It seems to be spreading. But it body is smooth no growth outside of the fish. Eats like a champ. Any thoughts would be helpful. Oh and all other fish do not have this problem. I might be over reacting but don't want him to die....

I thought the same when I first put my blonde naso in my tank as well. It's most likely due to their acclimation to the tank environment bumping into rocks and trying to dash into the rocks to hide. Mine had similar "scuff" marks and it went away in time. My tangs are looking at their best now after about 2 months. So I wouldn't worry about it.
