Wheelers Goby

Anyone keep these? I read they tend to do better in groups?

I'm wanting a goby for my pistol shrimp. Can't decide what to get. These are nice looking, and if I should get a couple or 3 maybe?

Or just get a yellow watchman and keep it simple!

i'd say pair. theyre jumpers although if kept with pistols in a dsb they will dive instead of fly...like most gobies... once pair bonded the third 'wheel ' gets driven away or killed....
i had a trio then a pair...they were finicky eaters...they loved live brine shrimp of all sizes...bbs no problem...even rotifers...get your lfs to feed them to make sure theyre eating prepared foods.....other than that go for it...i assume randalls pistol?

Yes, it's a randalls. I don't have a LFS so I was going to order from LiveAquaria. I have a lid but I did have a pinkbar get out once. Thru a very small spot! I might have better luck with the yellow watchman.
