The rocks that is.. apparently this little rock has been bugging my Acan Echinata, he is trying to kill it the best he can but i dont think its gonna work....

sometimes my rock annoys me but jeeze ... Ive never thought of killing it!

That would make a cool time lapse video...ofcourse it would really have no ending....Interesting none the less

any ideas on why they do that?? as far as rocks and glass, i mean i would understand if it was a coral and they felt the need to attack, but its rocks and the glass..
 
It's just my opinion, but I think they do it to kill surrounding competing organisms. When I had one of my echinatas in my 55 gallon, it would attack the coralline covered glass. After a few weeks, their was a large ring of dead/white coralline. I would guess they do this to pave the way for growth, and prevent other corals from getting too close.
