When and how often to add C Balance?

I have a new 90g with 60lbs base and 50lbs LR. It is fully cycled and there is a ton of life popping up everywhere, the only livestock are a handful of hermits and snails. I have dosed a two part one a week since startup and levels all reading perfect. Should I stay with weekly if levels stay good or dose daily like the product suggests? Thanks for any input.

Stop dosing. There should be no reason to dose at this point (or any other for that matter, unless you're LOADED with large corals). You've got nothing but rock in the tank, so there's nothing even using whatever is in that stuff you're dosing. At this point, water changes every other week or so would be plenty enough to restore anything used...but like i said, you've got nothing using anything... IMO, you should do as little as possible as far as adding stuff to the water.

What about keeping calcium levels up so the coraline begins to spread? What about providing for the life in the LR? I guess I also failed to mention I have a 30g fuge with an establised dsb and a ton of macroalgae.

I agree although, I would continue testing alkalinity and calcium over the next few weeks. If you don't have any corals your alkalinity level is much more important to keep in check, so test often. Find out your tank's consumption rate in a 24hr period and you can use the calculator below to help with dosing. Please use this calculator anytime you are dosing an alkalinity, calcium, or magnesium suppliment. ;)

Drummereef, I'm assuming the link you provided was to your own personal setup. I just perused your website and I was just wondering what your electric bill runs you each month.

What link was that Sam? The link I provided was made by jdieck. His tank was a TOTM a while back I believe. His tank is sweeeeeeet. :) I wish I could take credit for it. :D
