When Do You Feed Your Corals?

For those of you that feed your corals, when do you feed them...when the lights are still on?....when the lights are off?....just before the lights go off?

I don't feed my corals all that frequently (only 2-3 times per week), but since most of them have their polyps more extended at night, I feed them at night.

I add Pohl's Xtra at night after the lights are off. That's the only food I use. Research suggests it is ammonia, nitrate, and amino acids.

Stoyan (biom) said so. I'm not sure where he got the info from, but he's not the type to make it up. I'll ask him, and report back.

Back to the question

I feed at night and turn off some of the circulation.
Also I pour a bit so they have time to extend then pour the rest in.
