When expecting babies, what do you all like to use to cover the drain?

He's expecting again. Last time I used a soft mesh stuff, but it didn't seem to work as well as I had hoped and had to get like 20 out of my refugium. So what do you guys like?

Once the warning baby(ies) occur, I turn off the return pump at night as the fry most likely will be born just before lights on in the morning.

Awesome thanks! I got 2 warning babies today, so I'll turn the pumps off tonight.
Should I dose the formalin in the fry tank on day one or wait a couple of days?

That you will have to ask someone else about as I prefer not to dose formalin unless I really need it.
