when is an anenome dead?

how do you tell if an anenome is actually dead? i may have a candidate

Does it look like its fallin apart and slime around it? sometimes its just going to the bathroom, but if you touch it and it feels like its falling apart, take it out of the tank immediately!

it looks like when it closes itself up, but i havent seen it open all day. i cant get a picture because of its location in the tank, but i did reach in and touch it to see if it was still holding strong. I was unable to move it at all from its grip on the rock and it does not look slimy or anything yet so i will give it another day or two

if you can remove it then do and smell it... you will know

I know if the insides are coming out of its mouth (stringy looking stuff) and if is very smelly very,very smelly then you need to get it out. If its still holding on, it is probably dropping a duece. They can deflate pretty small.

just got home from work and it actually looks like his insides are now missing, not sure if he was eaten by a fish or not but i am going to take him out

just don't wait till the point where it disintegrates in ur tank..

its super smelly, i almost puked..
