When it rains it freakin pours

that tank looks familiar.. did you just get it recently?
anyhow center strap repairs can be made with a stainless steel strap over the center locking into place , replacing the original design of course would give the optimal support and of course cut out the old glass so you don't cut your wrists. many 6 foot long tanks have had the center braces repaired by using metal braces to replace the plastic supports that the manufacture deemed worthy not to expect that people would try to use those supports as handles to pick up the tanks. Good luck that would suck to hear another big POP sound.

Man that stinks ,,, im right in Elyria if you need a hand ,, i can get a 65 gal tank together for you if you need to do some emptying out ,,

Same here- I have some filters and a few protein skimmers that you can borrow if you need to evacuate the large tank to some smaller tanks. I have a few smaller tanks lying around(glass) that the skimmers would be appropriate. (I'm in Col Sta)

mh lights and glass

mh lights and glass

I set up a new light for a customer once and built some leggs to hold it 6" off the glass top. Plugged the light in and in a few minutes the glass lid cracked. I built a new 10" set of leggs and a second top cracked. We ran the tank without a glass top under the lid after that.

I had it replaced. turned out really good. Its only 6 inches wide now instead of 14, so it doesn't get anywhere near as hot as it did.

Looked good when I was there... have you spotted that crab again since the other night?

That thing was huge! :eek2:
