When will Apex jr start shipping?

Their pricing is rather strange to me. I was leaning towards buying an Apex Jr, but by the time a pH probe and pm1 are added it's near the cost of an APex Lite and you only have 4 outlets.

+1 this is the reason i'm not sure if its worth saving now or wait longer until I have the money to get the Apex light which may be a while?

I dont believe that the apexjr can be used as an EB4 when it is launched. I asked Neptune and the response was:


Eventually the Jr may have such a feature but not on first release.

Bummer - that was one of the features that Reef Builders mentioned that sounded interesting!

I'm just going to bite the bullet and grab either an Apex or Apex Lite. It doesn't make sense to buy the jr and then add pieces. I emailed them yesterday to see if they would put together a custom package(Apex/Lite -display + breakout box) and their answer was something along the lines of we have no plans to sell either the Apex or Apex Lite without a display. Personally, I think it's a little short sighted on their part, but it's their business. I can either buy their product or go back to that POS RK.

I emailed them a week to 10 days ago and they said they expected it to be mid-June. I guess the answer is "any day now".
